Robert Scott (BES '73, Planning)

Robert Scott was appointed to the Superior Court bench in 2000 and will retire by the end of this year for his 75th birthday. “Waterloo Urban and Regional Planning has been of great assistance to me over the years as a lawyer and justice. The very best to my classmates and other planning alumni.”

Scott Davis says, "Greetings to former classmates and co-op graduates with whom I interacted during my very rewarding 36-year career in Co-op Education at the University of Waterloo. I retired at the end of December 2022 and am thrilled and honored to have been inducted as an Honorary Member of the University of Waterloo at Fall Convocation 2023."

Corey Diamond celebrated the five year anniversary of the organization he leads, Efficiency Canada. “It is often said that energy efficiency is like the “swiss army knife” of policy options, “he says. “It helps to address the climate crisis, it boosts social equity, drives local economic development and job growth. But one thing not often discussed is how fun it is to work in this sector! In an upside down world, being able to contribute to the advancement of energy efficiency in Canada - while having fun doing it - is the one of the greatest joys of my professional life. Sarah Allen (BES '12, INDEV; MA '14 Global Governance)

Sarah Allen completed the Vin Fast Ironman World Championships in Kona, finishing the 2.4-mile swim, 112-mile bike and 26.22-mile run in 14 hours and 47 minutes on Oct. 14. It was the first-ever female-only world championships.

Ashoke Mohanraj (BES '21, ERS)

Ashoke Mohanraj says “I'm on a mission to bridge the gap between entertainment and climate education!
