The K.D. Fryer Gold Medal is awarded at fall convocation to a graduate who best exemplifies high academic standing and good student citizenship. Extracurricular activities such as athletics, cultural activities and student government are important considerations for the award. The K.D. Fryer Gold Medallist will have demonstrated, as an undergraduate, the commitment to scholastic endeavours and joy of participation in university life that characterized Dr. Fryer's own university experience.
