Administrative history: In 1997 and 1998, an independent group of Mennonites held two consultations on "Power and Authority in the Mennonite Church" in the Kitchener-Waterloo area. Leaders from many different Mennonite denominations participated. Participants included leaders in the church, business, the non-profit sector, students, academics and professionals.
