Thank you for an incredible first UWaterloo Giving Day!

Thank you to our entire community for coming together to make our first-ever UWaterloo Giving Day a success! With the generosity of 1,427 donors, we raised $748,744 — helping to fund scholarships, meaningful learning experiences, groundbreaking research, and innovation across campus.

Whether you made a gift, shared the campaign with your networks, or cheered us on — your support helped build something truly special. Every action, every conversation, and every show of Warrior pride made a difference.

This is just the beginning. You’ve helped lay the foundation for a new tradition of generosity at Waterloo — and we’re already looking forward to Giving Day 2026!

Thank you for being part of this historic moment.

The University of Waterloo acknowledges that much of our work takes place on the traditional territory of the Neutral, Anishinaabeg, and Haudenosaunee peoples. Our main campus is situated on the Haldimand Tract, the land granted to the Six Nations that includes six miles on each side of the Grand River. Our active work toward reconciliation takes place across our campuses through research, learning, teaching, and community building, and is co-ordinated within the Office of Indigenous Relations.
