The Write Spot is the Writing and Communication Centre's student-focused space. Located on the second floor of South Campus Hall, it houses our reception desk, and features an open and inviting workspace for students to show up and work on their academic projects. The Write Spot includes:
- On-call support from peer tutors (drop-ins) to ask questions and get support on your work
- Bookable private workspaces that can be used for attending drop-in and virtual appointments, or practicing or recording presentations, podcasts, videos, etc.
- Access to the WCC's lending library and learning resources
- Free coffee and tea (just bring a mug!)
Hours of Operation
Spring 2024
The Write Spot is under construction during the spring 2024 term. Drop-ins will still be available at Dana Porter Library on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 12:00 - 3:00 p.m. and students who are attending in-person appointments are asked to meet their advisors in the waiting area outside of the WCC's offices in South Campus Hall (SCH) 229.
