This training module reinforces the health hazards from inhalation of asbestos fibers and ensures workers understand the preventive measures in place and the location of information and materials needed to assess work involving asbestos.

Training content
After completing this training module, you will:
- Understand the health hazards from inhalation of asbestos fibres and the preventative measures in place to minimize exposure
- Know what asbestos is and understand asbestos containing materials (ACM) that come in friable and non-friable forms
- Know how to assess risk according to work
- Be able to locate information and materials you require to perform work without disturbing asbestos
- Understand the different responsibilities under the internal responsibility system (IRS)
